We took our boys to their first professional baseball game in downtown Denver. The Colorado Rockies played the Arizona Diamondbacks (who I saw in person a decade or so ago, believe it or not. We all know my love of sports events!) We had a really great time at the game. There was a couple of exciting home runs and the Rockies won. It was imperative that we have the whole experience, so we ate foot long "Rocky Dogs" -- hot dogs complete with grilled peppers & onions and sauerkraut. At the end of the game, they cleared the "Rockpile" (dollar seats) and a few other sections, ours included, moving all of those spectators down to the ball field for the after-game fireworks show. It was really fun to spread out our blanket and lay on the nice ball-field lawn for the show. Melaleuca could use a few pointers! That was a fireworks show! (Brian, we offer our condolences and hope that you have recovered from the falling shrapnel.) Jordan thought that it was about 5 grand finales put together at its wrapping up.
