It seems strange to be back into our school routine. Where did summer go? Our summer weather ended right along with summer vacation. It is a bit of an adjustment for the boys to have all of their at-home chores and responsibilities on top of being gone for several hours a day and having assignments to do for school, too. I've recently been told that I'm a slave driver. Many of our after school times these first days have been a snack along with a good cry. Life is exhausting when you are 7. But, sometimes the boys are really happy to see each other and have a great time catching up on the day and getting silly together over their after school goodies.

Life can be TOUGH when you're used to free time and all of a sudden there's all these responsibilities. Welcome to the slave driver club. Wear your badge proudly!! ;)
